Define the liquid product
Confirm whether the candidate is an emulsion, an aqueous solution or another formulation. Request its own product code and concentration basis. Do not infer active fraction or density from a different supplier sheet or from visual appearance.
Confirm that the manufacturer actually offers the proposed grade and package. The presence of emulsions in the wider market does not establish an equivalent liquid version of every approved powder or a standing Xinqi stock commitment.
Check activation requirements
Request the product-specific inversion or dilution instructions and the water and mixing conditions needed to make usable polymer. Compare those requirements with the installed equipment. A pump capable of moving the supplied material does not prove adequate activation.
Keep initial wetting or inversion separate from subsequent maturation and dilution where required by the instructions. Record the stock reaching the application point rather than evaluating only the material at the transfer pump.
Verify delivery and the comparison basis
Confirm actual commercial-product delivery. For a volume-to-mass conversion, obtain the relevant density and units; for active-mass normalization, use a documented fraction. Avoid treating nominal pump speed as measured dose.
Compare the separator result with the incumbent under representative feed. A shorter preparation step does not by itself establish lower operating cost if capture, liquid quality or solids handling deteriorates.
Include package and storage duties
Ask for handling and storage guidance for the exact code and container. Confirm arrangements for remaining material, transfer connections and empty packaging under the actual commercial proposal. Do not assume universal shelf life or storage temperature.
Use the qualified price comparison and the replacement review before changing supply form. Keep the emulsion as a separate candidate until practical activation and application evidence justify approval.
Purchasing evidence to keep
| Approval point | Record needed |
|---|---|
| Formulation | Exact liquid form, code and supported concentration basis identify the proposal. |
| Activation | Water and equipment can produce usable stock under the supplied instructions. |
| Consumption | Measured delivery and accepted separator response support a commercial comparison. |
