Clarify the grade definition
Nonionic polyacrylamide is a product family, not a promise that water chemistry has no effect. Ask the manufacturer how the proposed code is described and which measured properties distinguish it from alternatives.
State process restrictions explicitly. If a nonionic candidate is being screened alongside anionic or cationic material, document why each was selected rather than assuming the names establish a performance ranking.
Make the preparation comparison reproducible
Request instructions for the proposed sample and record water source, concentration, mixing and preparation time. A variable stock can obscure the response of an otherwise appropriate grade.
Check the usable solution reaching the application point. Changes in make-down or transfer should be recorded with the sample result, especially when the material is being evaluated as a replacement for an established product.
